Laramie, Wy – U-S Senator John Barrasso says he does not oppose efforts by Congress to pass a new health care package, in fact he would like a new system with more of an emphasis on prevention. But he disagrees with any attempts to put the government in charge of health care, especially when it comes to determining what procedures can be allowed.
"The difference is if you are on that Govt plan you get less. You get emergency care, you get catastrophic care, but if you get an elective procedure, you get to the back of the line."
Barrasso is also upset that Democrats in Congress are trying to rush a bill through instead of allowing citizens to get a chance to vet it.
