Senator Peck Remains in Hospital

Cheyenne, WY – State Senator Bob Peck is recovering. The 82-year-old from Riverton caught West Nile Virus this summer then contracted pneumonia at the beginning of January. He is now in a Cheyenne hospital and Senate President John Schiffer says he visits him regularly and he is improving. Schiffer says he doesn't know when Peck will return to the Senate. Today the Senate temporarily replaced Peck on two committees. Schiffer says that is to keep the processing moving while Peck recovers.
