Sheridan lands a new business

Sheridan, Wy – Sheridan has landed a firm that says it will provide 30 to 50 light manufacturing jobs to the community. Vacutech builds vacuum systems and is currently based in Centennial, Colorado. It will build a facility on nine acres in Sheridan's new high tech business Park. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says this is a big step towards diversifying the local economy.
"Hopefully this represents just the beginning of our economic diversification efforts. It represents years of hard work by the entire community coming together and we are so excited to welcome this Colorado firm to Sheridan, Wyoming."
Kinskey says the business is unique for Sheridan. He predicts a ten to
20-million dollar shot in the arm for the community.
