Siblings Win Entrepreneur Contest

Laramie, Wy – A brother and sister from southeast Wyoming have
won a business competition at the University of Wyoming.
Patrick and Amie Zimmerer, of Huntley, topped the
Entrepreneurship Competition with their proposal to make wine from
state-grown grapes.
They were awarded five thousand dollars to start their business
this summer.
Another five thousand dollars will be made available based on a
progress report.
Patrick Zimmerer is a third-year law student and the general
manager of his family's Table Mountain Vineyards in Torrington.
His sister, Amie, is a sophomore business major.
The family hopes to begin marketing wine this year. Tasting
rooms featuring Wyoming cheeses, crackers and chocolates are also
planned.
