Cheyenne, WY – The state renewed efforts to recycle waste paper produced by state agencies last week. It's estimated that the state generates 30 tons of waste paper each month. Governor Dave Freudenthal says the effort also has a financial benefit. He says currently, a large number of landfills are running out of space so an appropriate recycling program could save money. He says the state will not have to pay for its recycling program and in fact coulc make money because of the large amounts it will recycle.
