State Wants Education Suit Tossed Out

Laramie, Wy – An attorney for the state is calling for the dismissal of the lawsuit over education funding in Wyoming. The trial started last Monday. And Special Assistant Attorney General Mike O'Donnell filed the motion to dismiss this Thursday.
School districts and the Wyoming Education Association filed this lawsuit. They claim the existing funding system is unconstitutional. The Wyoming Education Association says the motion to dismiss is not valid because the new system won't address several issues involved in the case.
