Success Curriculum Heads to the Gov's Desk

Cheyenne, WY – The Hathaway success curriculum has passed the legislature. The curriculum is the roadmap students must follow if they intend on receiving Hathaway scholarship money to attend an in-state college or trade school. Senator Hank Coe says those who get the highest scholarship dollars must pass four years of math, science and English among other classes. He says the bill requires rigor in order to get the highest amount of money the scholarship offers. The University of Wyoming was following the bill closely and Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs Rolin Abernethy says the curriculum will help students be successful at UW. The bill now heads to the Governor for his signature.
