Cheyenne, Wy –
A Wyoming state trooper stopped a pick-up truck east of Cheyenne on I-80 early Saturday morning and with the help of a police dog discovered several suitcases filled with more than three million dollars in cash. The truck's driver and passenger could not explain where the money came from or why they had it so officers let them carry on their way. But they confiscated the money in what Wyoming highway patrol sergeant Steve Townsend says may be a record-breaking seizure.
Law enforcement officials suspect the money comes from drug trafficking. They now begin their investigation in connection with the U-S drug enforcement agency.
