Grand Teton National Park – Grand Teton National Park officials say two
tourists from Belgium were killed when their car crashed head-on with a semi-truck hauling a car transport trailer.
The crash happened Monday afternoon on U.S. 26/89/191 just south
of the Albright scenic overlook. Teton County Coroner Bob Campbell
says the man and a woman were in a Ford Focus.
Campbell declared the man and woman dead on the scene.
Park officials say the victims' names have not been released
pending notification of relatives.
Grand Teton spokeswoman Jackie Skaggs says the truck driver
wasn't seriously hurt but was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
