UW Women's Basketball Lands a Fourth Recruit
Laramie, WY – Wyoming women's coach Joe Legerski has landed a fourth high school recruit.
The latest prep athlete to give the Cowgirls a verbal commitment is Brenna Freeze of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The 5-foot-11 guard/wing averaged nearly 14 points, about eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in her junior year last year.
Freeze shot 53 percent from the field overall and 41 percent from the 3-point arc.
Freeze was recruited by about two dozen other Division I and II schools before narrowing her list to Wyoming, New Mexico and North Texas.
Freeze says she liked Wyoming's coaches and players.
Freeze is the fourth high school athlete to give a verbal commitment to sign with Wyoming on November 7.
