Winter Blizzard Closes Roads And Businesses

Laramie, Wy – In Wyoming a winter blizzard has shut down businesses and roads in southeast Wyoming, including sections of Interstates 25 and 80. The blizzard was also responsible for a small plane crash, where the pilot walked away.

State Government, the University of Wyoming and many other offices and businesses have closed until at least mid-day Thursday as a major snow storm travels through parts of Wyoming, Colorado and Eastern Nebraska. Cheyenne could see up to 13 inches of snow and 50 mile an hour wind gusts are making it difficult to keep roads open. Forecasters say the weather should improve by mid-day Thursday. State offices are scheduled to reopen by mid day.
