Laramie, Wy – A federal judge has consolidated lawsuits
by the Wyoming Wolf Coalition and the state of Wyoming.
The lawsuits aim to force the federal government to accept the
state's plan for managing gray wolves once they are off the
Governor Freudenthal had been concerned the Wolf coalition's
efforts would prolong the court battle.
But if the consolidation of the lawsuits does not delay court
proceedings, Freudenthal says he's O-K with that.
Oral arguments in the consolidated case of set for next February
before federal Judge Alan Johnson.
