Wyoming has fresh blood in state government

Cheyenne, Wy – Wyoming has some fresh blood in state government. Three of the top five elected officials, Governor Matt Mead, Superintendent Cindy Hill and State Auditor Cynthia Cloud have never served in state government and have never held elected office. Mead hopes that will bring fresh ideas to state government. Cloud adds that this not only allows the three to learn together, but also to bond. But Cloud says they must also use the Wisdom of Secretary of State Max Maxfield and Treasurer Joe Meyer. "Because they have been here so long and have a history of a lot of the issues." All five elected officials took their oath of office on Monday and were honored at a reception at the state capitol.
