Wyoming lawmakers join partnership

Cheyenne, WY – Wyoming lawmakers are joining their counterparts in other states in a partnership to share and collaborate on energy policies and issues.
The partnership is called the Producer States Agreement
committee and is still being formed.
Republican Rep. Tom Lubnau, of Gillette, is chairman of the
committee, which held a teleconference meeting Wednesday.
Lubnau says the partnerships with lawmakers from other states
could allow Wyoming to consider model legislation that the other
states have found to be successful. In addition, he said the states
could form partnerships among their major universities to conduct
research.
