Wyoming posts wolf plan comments

Cody, WY – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has
posted on its Web site all the public comments its received on the
state's draft gray wolf management plan.
The public comment period on the wolf plan expired October 10.
The department received 352 individual comments by mail, fax or
through the department's new online public commenting system.
Game and Fish Director Terry Cleveland said that the department
hopes that by posting all of the individual comments on the Web
site, people will have the opportunity to understand the tremendous
variety of opinions that exist concerning wolf management in
Wyoming.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will review the public
comments prior to its meeting next month in Thermopolis, and then
take final action on the draft wolf plan.
