Washington, D.C. – Following a day of chairing testimony on the problems of health care access for Americans, Senator Mike Enzi says letting the issue slide by for another year cannot happen. At the minimum, Enzi is urging lawmakers to reach a compromise on legislation to make it easier for small business employees to get insurance. Enzi notes that a large majority of small businesses in Wyoming cannot afford to provide health insurance. He says that has to change.
Among those who testified, was Jackson Architect Mitch Blake who worries that his business may no longer me able to offer health insurance if costs continue to rise.
