Wyoming Should Continue Aging

Washington, DC – The Census Bureau is reporting what many already know about Wyoming, the state's getting older. In fact, the Census Bureau predicts that by 2030, Wyoming will have the second-highest percentage of elderly residents behind only Florida. Wyoming would be one of six states with more than one in four residents 65 or older and one of just ten with more people over 65 than under 18. The Census Bureau projects that Wyoming will still be the nation's least populous state in 2030 with a population of nearly 523,000.
