Wyoming Superdelegate Picks Obama

Cheyenne, WY – Sen. Barack Obama has picked up another Wyoming superdelegate.

Nancy Drummond of Sheridan said Tuesday she decided to commit to the Illinois senator after this past weekend's state Democratic convention in Jackson.

Five of the state's six superdelegates to the national Democratic convention in Denver have said they are supporting Obama. One remains uncommitted.

Obama also won seven pledged delegates from state party caucuses held earlier, while Hillary Rodham Clinton won five pledged delegates.

Drummond, the vice chairwoman of the state Democratic party, says she vacillated between supporting Obama or Clinton as the campaign unfolded. She says she was heavily lobbied by both
candidates.
