Laramie, Wyo. – Many in the state are wondering whether Wyoming will see its first Democrat elected to Congress in 30 years.
U.S. House candidates Gary Trauner and Cynthia Lummis are in a dead heat heading into the weekend. University of Wyoming Political Scientist Jim King believes that Democratic candidate Trauner has the momentum since he is getting his share of undecided voters in this vastly republican state.
Governor Dave Freudenthal says Trauner should expect an increase in negative advertising this weekend. He says Trauner's ability to respond to those attacks may well determine whether he will win or not.
