Laramie, WY – In the same year that many around the country are wringing their hands over gas prices, Yellowstone National Park is seeing record numbers of tourists.
Yellowstone Spokesman Al Nash says a record 612,000 tourists visited the park in June. It's only the second time that the park has seen as many as 600,000 visitors in June.
Nash says Yellowstone's visitation for the first six months of the year, is only slightly behind last year's record pace.
